COVID-19 FAQ's

Restrictions are now lifted, but we will always consider your requests.

  • Boxes are cleaned and sanitised after every use – this is regardless of COVID.
  • Delivery: If you’d like our driver to maintain a 2m distance just ask. You won’t need to sign for the delivery.
  • Collection: Please leave the boxes outside your door or where you prefer on our arrival. We will call you before we get there.
  • Please place your order as normal, we will be in touch to confirm delivery arrangements.
How big are the boxes?

Our boxes measure 600(L) x 400(W) x 310(D) mm. They are the perfect size for home removals.

Are your boxes cleaned after every hire?

Yes. We check and clean each box after every use.

Do I need to be home for the delivery and collection?

You or someone over the age of 18 should be there to receive the delivery, but if this is not possible please let us know in advance. We are flexible and can drop off the boxes outside of our normal delivery times if needed.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery and Collection is included in the cost of our hire packages over £45 within our service area.
A £10 delivery charge will be added to hire packages under £45 within our service area. If you then add packing supplies to bring the total over £45 Use code: FREEDELIVERY for Free Delivery.

If you are moving outside of our service area please contact us for a quote.

What if I need the boxes for longer than I've hired for?

No problem, just let us know if you need the boxes a bit longer and we’ll sort it out.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our Flexible Hire Guarantee means you don’t need to worry.

If you need to move your booking to a different date for any reason, you can do that without charge.

If you wish to cancel the order we offer a full refund on any order cancelled up to the day before we’re due to deliver. If you cancel the order on the day of delivery a £25 fee may be charged if we’re already on our way to you.

I've got more boxes than I need, can you collect the unused ones before I move?

Yes, no problem. Let us know before you move and we’ll pop round and pick up the unused ones.

How soon should I place my order?

Depending on availability we can usually deliver next day or even same day, and we’re happy to deliver in the evening too, if it’s more convenient for you.
If it’s short notice you can always contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

If you can, it’s always good to book a week or so in advance so you don’t have to worry.

If your preferred delivery date isn’t available, we will deliver the boxes early at no extra cost. Just let us know in the notes when you order.

How do I know when you'll be back to collect the boxes?

We’ll contact you after you’ve placed your order to confirm the details and confirm the collection date with you then. If you need the boxes a little longer just let us know.

What happens if I need more boxes to finish packing?

No problem, let us know how many you need and we’ll drop them round ASAP.
Extra boxes are priced at £2 for 1 week and then 60p for each additional week after that.

Can I use your boxes with a removal company?

Of course! Our boxes make it much easier and quicker for removal companies when packing and loading the removal van.

Are packing materials included?

No, but you can add them on our order page. Choose from packing paper, bubble wrap, mattress covers etc.

How many boxes do I need?

We’ve setup packages based on number of bedrooms and the ‘average’ mover. You have the option to add additional boxes if you don’t think there is enough. But if you don’t have much stuff to pack, choose a smaller package.

Can I see the boxes before I decide?

Yes. If you are unsure and would like to see the boxes before placing your order just let us know.

We operate from our location in Fareham, servicing customers in the area shown on on our locations page.
